Benjamin Li is a Dutch artist of Chinese ancestry. One of his art projects involves him visiting as many Chinese-Indonesian restaurants, a type of restaurant and cuisine that only exist in The Netherlands. This type of restaurant is quickly disappearing due to there not being successors interested in continuing in the restaurant business. With this type of restaurant comes a very distinct visual style, and Benjamin Li’s website is designed to look like a traditional Chinese-Indonesian restaurant menu.
